It’s important for leaders to have their origin story in their back pocket for any instance you are asked for it. But how do you prepare it? Where do you start? We have put together some tips to craft a compelling Origin Story!
- Decide on your takeaway first
- State the obstacles you faced
- Use s storytelling framework (e.g The intro/setup | the problem/obstacle is introduced | the character struggles to overcome the obstacle | the resolution | the conclusion)
- Create images in your listener’s mind
- Don’t pretend your perfect
